The
Reiki School was founded by Chris and Penny Parkes in 1995 to provide
the highest standards of Reiki training for practitioners and Masters.
When
The Reiki School first began training students, this healing art
was almost unheard of and there were comparatively few Reiki practitioners
in the UK, trained by a handful of Reiki Masters. Since then, a
great number of people from all walks of life have learned Reiki.
Several thousand practitioners have trained at The Reiki School
and there continues to be a tremendous interest in learning this
fascinating healing art.

Reiki
training falls into four key levels:

Reiki 1st Degree

Chris
and Penny Parkes are motivational teachers who provide a safe environment
for self-development and the encouragement of personal change.
Classes
are presented in the most powerful form so that no other additional
levels or forms of healing are needed to ensure the effectiveness
of this ancient healing art.
The
School honours the history and energetic integrity of the Usui system
of Reiki and encourages each individual to heal the mind-body-spirit
to a state of wholeness and balance through its practice.
Reiki
offers something very special. It oftens brings about a state of
inner peace and many people find they feel better than they've felt
for years but of course there are no guarantees! Reiki offers something
different to everyone. The Reiki School students find the classes
very enjoyable as well as enlightening.
The
Reiki School teaches only 'Higher Tier' Reiki, which refers
to training given by Masters who themselves have trained for a minimum
of 12 months. 'Higher Tier Mastership' is available for those
ready to take this step.
